The Michigan Lighthouse Assistance Program (MLAP) was established to assist in the preservation, rehabilitation and protection of historic lighthouses in Michigan. The MLAP grant program provides funding for planning and rehabilitation projects at Michigan light stations. Funding for the grant program comes from the sale of lighthouse license plates.
The intent of this blog is to share information on the MLAP grant projects through photographs and written descriptions.
